Hello there! I’m Alejandra. I am someone who has always been passionate about writing and storytelling. It's my way of learning new things, expressing my creativity, and connecting with the world. Overall, I'm all about letting my creativity flow, exploring new ideas, and making connections through writing. I'm excited to see where my passions take me next!
What I'm up to
I recently graduated from UC Riverside in June with a B.A. in English. At UCR, I worked as a marketing and communications writer for CHASS, with nearly three years of experience. In my role, I tell people's stories and connect with them at UCR while also taking on campaign management, digital marketing, and communication initiatives. I am currently continuing my work as a freelance writer. Through writing, I gain new perspectives on different areas and people as I explore their communities, struggles, accomplishments, and experiences. I love reading, working on my interests, and learning more about UX writing and content design when I'm not writing. These passions allow me to explore solutions to problems, practice putting users first in different scenarios, and create visual storytelling.
Looking for
I would love to build my experience and work on my interests. I am actively looking for roles in areas such as marketing, communications, and writing, with an interest in audiences, customers, and user experiences shaping messaging, content, and storytelling strategies. I am open to opportunities located in Los Angeles or remote. Overall, in my next role, I strive to understand how audiences guide brand and product storytelling efforts to better communicate with you and what we do.
